there are so many things i want to say when i'm angry. terrible things. things i rehearse in my head but never let out.

sometimes i'm cursing at someone in my mind while standing perfectly still, pretending everything is fine.

i keep swallowing my words until it feels like there's no room left for air.

this painting is what happens when i don't say any of it.

all the anger, the unfinished sentences, the things i almost said.

About the artwork

an expressive abstract painting exploring suppressed anger, unspoken thoughts, and the tension between what we feel and what we allow ourselves to say.

layers of pink, deep blue, black, orange, and green overlap with loose, restless marks. the contrast between soft colors and heavier strokes reflects the discomfort of keeping difficult emotions inside.
