In my feelings

i remember all the things i did to myself because i hated the woman i saw in the mirror.

the changing, the fixing, the constant searching for something else to correct. somehow, nothing was ever enough. there was always another part of me i could learn to dislike.

miserable woman is what remains when you spend so much time trying to become someone you can finally accept, only to realize you have been at war with yourself all along.
